Gorgeous British actress, star of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, has hinted that her long-term relationship with actor Rupert Friend could be over.
The news is sure to bring a smile to the faces of men everywhere who may think all their Christmases have come at once.
Currently starring in a West End production called Misanthrope, the 22-year-old sexy actress recently said she had noticed some similarities between her and her on stage character, saying they both suffer from "problems" in their love lives.
"Do I recognize being an extremely well-known young actress? Yes. And she's in the middle of a world full of people who are quite a bit older than her," she said.
When directly asked if she was having problems with her current boyfriend, Knightley skirted the issue and replied "no comment".
It just goes to show, if you wish hard enough for that special Christmas treat, it may just come true.
